But angst lovers will love that, but more than a handful of times it became repetitive making it extremely hard to connect with her. This one kind of went off kilter and added extra drama which didn’t need to be added, it took the focus off the back bones of the story, being Mr XĪnd Shi, our victim, survivor came across weak in this book, always not dealing with a situation firsthand and walking away, it just screamed immaturity, it gave me whiplash. Those times when we’re thrown into our heroine’s traumatic past is where my dark little soul rejoiced. What I love about this is the dark stalker/killer aspect of the storyline. So going into this my expectations were high! It kick starts us off right where we all fell victim to that cliffy the author threw us over, but that’s not the last of it, because prepare yourselves to fall down another one. I’ll keep this review a little cryptic because anything I say has the potential to be a spoiler.I loved the 1st book which easily got my 5 stars. It’s a lot to process and I know many readers will feel the same! I just want some answers! I want to know if her stalker will ever get her or if a certain someone will take her away.

Hopefully it won’t continue to spiral as it is right now because that could get on my nerves LOL. Some of it I found to be a little overboard because there was so much happening to her, but I am curious to see how it all comes together in the next book. She’s lucky to have these boys to fall back on but having 3 people after her is enough to cause serious issues in her life. Save Me, book 2 in the WITSEC series follows Shi and the Stone brothers as they not only enter in a relationship together but fight off the demons that are following them as well. If any of these things appeals to you then read on.

It’s a little dark as there is a serial killer after the heroine and contains a reverse harem romance which means our heroine has more than one love interest (they all happen to be brothers).

This series must be read in order as it follows the same characters. If you enjoy a reverse harem romance with suspense thrown in, then you may want to read this series!įirst and foremost, this is NOT a standalone.
